Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, especially when someone is experiencing suicidal thoughts or navigating the impact of suicide. During these moments, having access to compassionate, non-judgemental support can make a meaningful difference.

REBUILD, delivered by Mission Australia, is a personalised support program for people aged 16 years and over who have encountered suicide or are managing suicidal thoughts. The program is designed to walk alongside people as they heal, reconnect, and strengthen their wellbeing.

What makes REBUILD unique is its combination of professional support and lived experience insight. The team understands that recovery is not one-size-fits-all, and support is tailored to each person’s individual needs, goals and circumstances.

Mission Australia’s broader mental health approach focuses on healing, resilience and connection through community-based support services that complement clinical care. Their programs aim to provide safe and supportive spaces where people can strengthen their mental health and wellbeing and work towards stable, fulfilling lives.

Mission Australia also recognises the strong link between mental health, social connection and housing stability, believing that access to timely support helps individuals thrive while strengthening communities as a whole.
