When times are tough, staying connected and looking out for one another really matters. With the ongoing impacts of drought and algal blooms across our region, there are two free training opportunities available to help build confidence and support within our community.

Connecting with People
Available both face-to-face and online, this training is part of the drought and algal bloom response. It includes Suicide Awareness and Emotional Resilience modules, offering practical tools to recognise when someone might be doing it tough and how to respond with care. You can find session details and register via Eventbrite.
Recognise and Respond with the Black Dog Institute
This free, 60-minute online session is a simple and practical way to learn how to spot signs of distress and support others in a meaningful way.
All sessions are open to anyone in the wider community who’d like to take part.

By learning together and supporting each other, we can keep building a strong, connected community.
